Sink is backing up
« on: May 31, 2020, 12:38:20 PM »
New member here thanks for the help

I have a  sink in the upstairs drain that is backing up. I tried to run a snake down but can't get it to make the turn to go down, it just comes out of the other drain. Is there a cleanout somewhere I could use?
Also, could it be a clogged vent coming out of the roof and what is the best way to check it? I also took both P traps apart and cleaned them to the wall. No other drains in the house are clogged up or slow draining.

I can't find a way to get out of this, and so I'm thinking of calling a plumber. If anyone knows how to solve this, then that would be great.

Thanks in advance.
