Is there a pricing sweet spot for conservatories?

It seems to me that there's a huge gap in pricing between many conservatories of similar size? I'm assuming a higher price means a higher quality product - maybe loses less heat?

What would you consider to be the sweet spot for an averagely sized conservatory?

I agree that there is a huge gap in the prices that are charged for the conservatories.
I'm not very sure that the prices I'm listing here are 'standard' ones but I guess you might get a good idea about the price range:

Edwardian style conservatory:  price from 2629 and  4,439- including steel base and walls

Victorian style conservatory: price from 2,465 and 4,428- including steel base and walls

Lean-to style conservatory: price from 1,953 and 3,638- including steel base and walls
reference- dream conservatories online ltd.

I'd like to mention the site conservatoryprices-uk which has given the prices range as being between 6,000 and 20,000 !!
Of course these are high end conservatories.

Hope this helps.
